Bathroom remodel in Santa Rosa, CA.
The Vallejo St. remodel involved shower and bathroom tile work, using flourish tiles my client brought back from Italy. I furnished local tiles to match the imported ones.
A solid foundation.
Here, we're preparing for the shower pan. Pre-sloping the shower bottom towards the drain.
Water tight, sleep good at night.
The shower pan is installed on top of the pre-slope. Everything's ready for the final float.
Hope floats.
Final "float" of shower floor (mortar). Next we'll do mortar on the walls, then on to the tile work.
Mud, mud, and more mud.
Putting 1/2” of mortar on walls in anticipation for tile installation. Shown here is the shampoo niche.
Ready to tile, makes ya smile.
At this stage, floor and walls have been mortared and we're ready for tiles.
Wall-to-wall awesomeness.
Tiles installed over shower floor float.
Finished tiles.
Completed installation.
